Sales and Customer Service
Sanderson’s sales have grown strongly and consistently in recent years, led by the UK market where our fabrics and wallpapers can be found at high quality interior designers, department stores and retailers throughout the country. Sales are also generated through the hotel contract market and furniture manufacturers, all serviced through Sanderson’s own dedicated and highly knowledgeable team of Area Managers.
Sanderson’s stock control and distribution is supported by a fully computerised customer service operation. Deliveries are dispatched from the company’s centrally located distribution centre three hours after the point of order through a courier system which operates throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
As a long standing English company, Sanderson continues to source the majority of its product in the UK. All Sanderson’s wallpapers are printed in Loughborough and the company produces approximately a quarter of a million rolls per year while Sanderson’s prints, over 700,000m of fabric annually, at a mill in Lancashire. The company’s extensive range of paints are also produced and distributed in the UK.
Represent almost 40% of the Company’s turnover with sales established in well over 50 countries worldwide. Sanderson’s two largest markets are USA and France, where they have their own long established subsidiary operations.
The Sanderson showroom in the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour is a stunning showcase for the brand’s wallpaper and fabric collections. It can be found on the ground floor in the Centre Dome and it also houses the Zoffany and Morris & Co brands. The full range of product is also showcased at Sanderson’s 150m2 showroom in the esteemed D&D building in New York and at its new showroom in Paris on Rue de Mail.
Sales are driven by an experienced network of agents and distributors, many of whom Sanderson have worked with for over 40 years. Western Europe and the Far East, most notably Japan and China are key territories but in recent years Eastern Europe and Russia in particular, have become very influential as their demand for quality product with a recognised heritage perfectly matches Sanderson’s offer and background.
